Why Rebirth Fitness Yoga?

We believe in fitness with a purpose, so our goal is to reconnect you to YOU so that you can be the best version of yourself! Many people have tried yoga at various Yoga Studios in and around Pompano Beach, but felt uncomfortable in the unusual environment, confused with the terminology, and “turned off” with the lack of structure. 

At Rebirth Fitness, we have developed a more personal and systematic approach that welcomes you into a safe, friendly environment with a family/community atmosphere that you won’t find anywhere else. Our one-of-a-kind yoga program is fitness goal oriented and clearly defined by a colored band leveled system. Our certified instructors guide you in a specific progression of beginner, intermediate, and advanced level criteria. Kristen Birth, Lead Instructor and Founder, is not only 500 hour yoga certified with 15+ years of yoga and personal training experience, but she has an exercise physiology degree and background – which she uses to help achieve your goals.  Your goals are attainable as your progress is measured. The body can achieve what the mind believes!

Vinyasa into Anuttara Raja Yoga

Monday 5:30 pm - 6:45 pm
Vinyasa, a style of yoga which is very cardiovascular, strings poses together moving from one pose to another in fluid, graceful movements. During the Vinyasa, the practitioner flows from one pose to the next through a sequenced variety of postures. Anuttara Raja yoga is the complete opposite. Instead of using muscles, you disengage the muscle in order to gain access to the connective tissue. Unlike Vinyasa, you move in very slow movements.

Liz is a 500HR Yoga Alliance Teacher from Anuttara. She teaches level 2 Vinyasa for the more intense fast flow yogis. She also teaches a combo class of Level 2 Vinyasa into Anuttara Raja Yoga, which is the same as Yin Yoga (holding poses for 3-10 minutes). This helps to get deep into connective tissue, releasing bound up fascia, and improving range of motion. Get a great workout, and a relaxing stretch!

Reach your yoga and fitness goals faster with this high-intensity interval training class. 5 min warmup, 30 min of intense cardio and strength stations designed to get your heart rate up followed by a rest interval. This class includes kickboxing, weights, TRX bands, and functional strength training. These athletic movements will burn calories, build muscle tone, and sharpen your skills. Learn kickboxing from a blackbelt, who has an exercise physiology degree, who is a certified personal trainer, and over 15 years of experience in the fitness industry! Combined together, this workout will make you sweat & ensure you reach all your goals! Finish with 10 minutes of deep stretching & relaxation for a total of a 45-minute class. Bring a small hand towel, water, and shoes to workout in. You have the option to bring your own gloves if you want, but we provide them also.

Kristen Birth Longworth is not your average yoga instructor! She is the visionary, creator, entrepreneur, owner/operator of Rebirth Fitness Yoga. Kristen was born and raised in South Florida. She studied Nutrition and Psychology at the University of Florida. She returned home, graduating from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science & Health Promotion in 2005. She became a certified Strength and Conditioning Coach through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, and a Health Fitness instructor through the American College of Sports Medicine in 2005 and 2006. She had the opportunity to intern with the Strength Coach of the Florida Panthers in 2006. She volunteered with Supreme Science Qigong Center from 2007-2008, teaching Qigong workshops around the country as a certified practitioner. She also worked in Post Rehab from 2006-2009 at The Back Gym, where she helped clients recover after orthopedic injuries & surgery. In 2009 and 2010, Kristen worked as a Nutritional Advisor at ALCAT. She counseled clients on their food intolerance blood test results, creating comprehensive meal plans. In the same 2 years, Kristen competed in 6 Fitness and Figure competitions, and won all 1st place titles, making her the Southeast States champion 2 years in a row. She went on to compete as a Pro for Ms. Fitness USA and placed 10th in the USA & 19th in the World. In 2013 she became a 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher through Yoga Alliance. She also spent time studying at the Sivananda Ashram in the Bahamas. Since 2010, she has successfully owned and operated a small in-home personal training business called Rebirth Fitness. In April of 2016 she opened a location in Fort Lauderdale, and added the Vasper System Technology into her Fitness Training Programs to help her clients recover faster and reach their optimum fitness goals. In 2018 she graduated with her highest level yoga teacher of teachers 500 hour certification. She created a unique bracelet system of yoga training and opened her own studio in Pompano Beach, FL with Vasper, Yoga, and massage, giving complete total health, fitness, and wellness. Currently she is a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu & she received a black belt in mixed martial arts of Kenpo Karate, Muay Thai, and American kickboxing in April of 2019. She became a certified Life Coach during the COVID quarantine, and launched her new Rebirth Method All Inclusive Coaching Program, with Body Nutrition, Fitness & Yoga, Brain & Mind Training with Breathing Pranayama Techniques & Meditation, and well as, True Self Recognition & Soul Life Purpose Astrology Readings. She believes in total Body, Mind, & Spirit health. She teaches her students to always be their best selves daily, and share this best self with the world. Kristen Birth Longworth is not your average yoga instructor! She is the visionary, creator, entrepreneur, owner/operator of Rebirth Fitness Yoga. Kristen was born and raised in South Florida. She studied Nutrition and Psychology at the University of Florida. She returned home, graduating from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science & Health Promotion in 2005. She became a certified Strength and Conditioning Coach through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, and a Health Fitness instructor through the American College of Sports Medicine in 2005 and 2006. She had the opportunity to intern with the Strength Coach of the Florida Panthers in 2006. She volunteered with Supreme Science Qigong Center from 2007-2008, teaching Qigong workshops around the country as a certified practitioner. She also worked in Post Rehab from 2006-2009 at The Back Gym, where she helped clients recover after orthopedic injuries & surgery. In 2009 and 2010, Kristen worked as a Nutritional Advisor at ALCAT. She counseled clients on their food intolerance blood test results, creating comprehensive meal plans. In the same 2 years, Kristen competed in 6 Fitness and Figure competitions, and won all 1st place titles, making her the Southeast States champion 2 years in a row. She went on to compete as a Pro for Ms. Fitness USA and placed 10th in the USA & 19th in the World. In 2013 she became a 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher through Yoga Alliance. She also spent time studying at the Sivananda Ashram in the Bahamas. Since 2010, she has successfully owned and operated a small in-home personal training business called Rebirth Fitness. In April of 2016 she opened a location in Fort Lauderdale, and added the Vasper System Technology into her Fitness Training Programs to help her clients recover faster and reach their optimum fitness goals. In 2018 she graduated with her highest level yoga teacher of teachers 500 hour certification. She created a unique bracelet system of yoga training and opened her own studio in Pompano Beach, FL with Vasper, Yoga, and massage, giving complete total health, fitness, and wellness. Currently she is a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu & she received a black belt in mixed martial arts of Kenpo Karate, Muay Thai, and American kickboxing in April of 2019. She became a certified Life Coach during the COVID quarantine, and launched her new Rebirth Method All Inclusive Coaching Program, with Body Nutrition, Fitness & Yoga, Brain & Mind Training with Breathing Pranayama Techniques & Meditation, and well as, True Self Recognition & Soul Life Purpose Astrology Readings. She believes in total Body, Mind, & Spirit health. She teaches her students to always be their best selves daily, and share this best self with the world. She also teaches a combo class of Level 2 Vinyasa into Anuttara Raja Yoga, which is the same as Yin Yoga (holding poses for 3-10 minutes). This helps to get deep into connective tissue, releasing bound up fascia, and improving range of motion. Get a great workout, and a relaxing stretch!
