Hi! I'm Kristen Birth-Longworth
I’m the founder and lead yogi at Rebirth Fitness Yoga in Pompano Beach. Consider me your motivational fitness consultant. I love learning new practices to help people like you find the best yoga and fitness program for their lifestyle – which is why I’ve spent the past 13 years get certified in multiple areas of fitness. Here’s why I’m not the average yoga instructor:
- B.S. in Exercise Science & Health Promotion
- Certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association and the American College of Sports Medicine
- Nutritional Advisor at ALCAT
- Certified by Supreme Science Qigong Center as a Qigong instructor
- Former professional fitness competitor
- Black Belt in Martial Arts of Kenpo Karate, Muay Thai, Jiu Jitsu and American Kickboxing
- Thai massage and restorative yoga certified
- 500 hour Registered Yoga teacher through Yoga Alliance
Hi! I'm Lauren Birth
I joined Rebirth Fitness a couple years ago to help my sister, Kristen, grow and share the mission of Rebirth Fitness by helping others be their best selves. Yoga has helped me on a deep mental and spiritual level, so for the past 6 years I’ve been teaching yoga in effort to share my transformation with others. I am also a certified massage therapist and have been practicing for over 10 years. Yoga and massage therapy are two very powerful healing practices, and I love being a part of my clients journey to heal their mind, body and soul. When I’m not teaching at Rebirth Fitness, you can find me surfing, paddleboarding and enjoying a variety of music.
Hi! I'm Stephan
For those of your who don’t know me, I’ve been a certified yoga instructor for the past 6 years I’ve been practicing yoga with a 200 hour certification. After starting my own electrical business, Longworth Electrical Solutions last year, I haven’t had the opportunity to start teaching…until June 15th! When I’m not teaching a Rebirth Fitness class or beer yoga class, I’m spending time with my lovely wife Kristen! We love to listen to music, attend concerts, run races, practice partner acro yoga, try new thrilling experiences like indoor skydiving, eat unique & delicious foods, and go on exciting adventures traveling together! Let me add some electricity to your yoga practice.
Hi! I'm Liz
For the last 15 years I was a middle school teacher whose passion was to teach. After taking my first yoga class 7 years ago I realized that I have another passion…yoga. Naturally I found a way to combine my two passions and became a certified 500 hour yoga teacher. When I’m not teaching at Rebirth Fitness, I’m spending my time with my 15-year-old daughter, watching the sunrise on the beach or transforming my garden into a tropical paradise. My goal is to help all of my students by learning the proper technique to truly feel the impact of this powerful ancient practice and align you with your best self.
Hi! I'm Shakira
For the past 5 years I’ve been practicing yoga with 200 hour certification from Om Joyful School of Yoga. Yoga is very close to my heart as it was my saving grace when I sought ways to overcome debilitating anxiety. My favorite yoga style is restorative and yin yoga, as I believe those to be the most mentally challenging (yet rewarding) practices. I am also certified in Reiki. When I’m not teaching a Rebirth Fitness class, I’m getting lost in music through ecstatic dancing. My superpower is encouraging myself and my students to nurture their body and spirit through yoga
Hi! I'm Michele
Following an injury in 2007, I walked into my first yoga class at The Barkan Method of Hot Yoga and fell in love – Practicing yoga 3 times a week for 6 months took care of my injury. In 2009 I completed teacher training levels 1, 2, and 3 at The Barkan Method of Hot Yoga with Jimmy Barkan. Then, in 2010 I completed training at Anuttara Yoga Shala with Philip Christodoulou, level 1 Anuttara Hatha Yoga and also level 2 Raja Yoga. I have found yoga not only helps me physically, but in so many other ways as well. I am a certified yoga teacher through Yoga Alliance with over 500 hours of training. I am also a self-proclaimed Tree Hugging, Animal Loving, Vegan Yoga Teacher.
